Given that the HIV primarily targets the human immune system, leading to a decrease in CD4 and an increase in CD8 during chronic stage, NADCdb provides "iPredict" model to categorize PLWH and cancer patients into three groups based on different immune statuses, including Group 1 with significantly downregulated CD4, Group 2 with markedly upregulated CD8, and Group 3 with both significantly downregulated CD4 and upregulated CD8. For different groups, 1,905 potential immune biomarkers were identified across 16 NADC types that showed concordant dysregulated patterns in PLWH and cancer patients. Furthermore, gene annotation, enrichment analysis and PPI network analysis were performed to elucidate the potential biological functions of these immunobiomarkers. Additionally, CMap analysis was appplied to reveal the functional connections between immunobiomarkers, compounds and NADCs, that aim to explore potential drugs for treating NADCs.
